Hornet Field (Alameda)

Field Directions

Take Webster St. Tube to Alameda.  Make right-hand turn at first traffic light onto Atlantic.  Follow Atlantic due west through the Naval Air Station main gate.  When Atlantic ends at the stop sign, turn left onto Ferry Pt.  Take Ferry Pt to W. Hornet Avenue (USS Hornet will be on the right).  Turn left (east) onto W. Hornet Ave. Hornet Field will be two blocks down, on right-hand (south) side of street.

(W. Hornet Ave. used to be called Normandy Ave and may still appear by that name in some online maps.)
