The
objective of the warm up is to get the players both physically
and mentally ready to train. In general, the players are excited
about playing soccer. Reinforce this feeling by immediately getting
the players involved with the ball. Do NOT spend too much time
on stretching exercises. What works well is getting the players
moving in a warm up game and allowing them to stretch between
exercises.
Remember: Get the players to touch the ball immediately.
